A Few Basic Commands for Running Rails in Production

While on Heroku, I didn’t need to worry about commands in Rails.

To stop an Apache server:  apachectl -k stop

To start an Apache server: apachectl -k graceful

To run the Rails Server: rails s -e production

To run the Rails console: RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails console

To run rake db:migrate: rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=production
